Honeymoon, England II - Around Deal, etc.

This is Deal Castle, built by Henry VIII. It was really more of a fortress, so we decided to bide our time until we could get to Dover and see a real castle. Still neat though:



And now for some flowers! There were roses and flowers and flowers and flowers everywhere...

Some of which, I had never seen:

The first of several "secret gardens"...Kristina didn't get it.


At the bottom, my Southern friends, is HONEYSUCKLE! I smelled it a mile away, but wasn't sure it would be the same thing until I saw it. I taught Kristina how to pluck the nectar and take a sip.
