Candidate Call Service

Dear Family and Friends,

I'm finally near the end of my four years of seminary training. It's been quite an interesting, amazing, and surprising experience that will culminate next week even as my education will finally be finished a few weeks later. Next Wednesday, May 2nd, at 7:00 p.m. (EST) is the Candidate Call Service. This is when I will find out where in the country and to which congregation my church body, the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod, is sending me. It will be a very exciting night to find out where we'll be moving this summer, and start to get a better picture of what our future will look like.

If you're interested in viewing the service, my school will be live-streaming it at the address below. There will be a live link the evening of the service. Again, the start time is 7 p.m. EST next Wednesday, May 2nd. The service will last approximately an hour since it is a whole prayer office:

I thank all of you for your support, prayers, and encouragement the last several years, and hope you'll be able to join in the fun next Wednesday! Please let me know if you have any questions, and keep a look out for graduation announcements coming soon.

Fem månader

Igår blev Edith fem månader gammal. Hon är fortfarande en aktiv (stor) liten dam, som pratar och skrattar mycket och sover lite.

Lot's of Edith pictures!

Again, sorry for the lack of updates recently. Edith hasn't been sleeping well, so the days have been pretty much "survival mode" for Kristina, and I've been pretty busy with classes. The last few days have been better though. As a result, here are a ton of pictures from the past weeks!

Looking cute:

When she looks at a book, she usually screams the entire time:

Two weeks ago, we had our friends Cyndy, Andrea, Kirsten, and Alyssa over for lunch. Everyone took a turn holding Edith:

No comment on that big, blue belly:

I thought this would make a good picture, but Edith was clearly not impressed:

90% cute:

1,000,000 % CUTE:

As I said, she hasn't been sleeping well...we both have puffy eyes (Roll Tide):

Getting ready to go to church:

Not quite ready to go:

Ready!

We've taken a break with solid foods, but here we are in the hay days:

Kristina with the sling, which Edith has started liking again:

She did really well the first couple of days, and then decided that she had had enough:

She never did get around to chopping that cabbage:

This was the one day we let her do her own hair:

CUTE!

Also, Edith can read now...well...not quite, but pretty close:

Bouncing Baby

We're really sorry for the lack of updates. Some more will come tonight. You will be happy you waited, though, once you see the cutest video in the history of cute videos. This little baby is growing pretty quickly:
