Extra protein?

Skulle börja baka en kaka och hittade en liten död ödla i min hushållsmaskin. Aptitretande, eller hur?

Hampus

Edith loved - and was a bit scared of - my parents' Belgian shepherd, Hampus. Sadly, he had to be put down the week after we left, due to old age and cancer.

Visiting 1

Visiting with dear cousins and friends.

Visiting 2

..with my mom's family.

Edith and Papa

My handsome husband and beautiful daughter. Love you both so much.

Horseback Riding

One of the highlights of the trip for Edith, riding one of Sofie's horses, Oliver. She absolutely loved it. We had to drag her off the horse and she was kicking and screaming all the way home.

Family Night

One of the last evenings in Finland we spent at my brother Daniel's house, visiting, eating good food and playing.

Mommo and cowgirl Esther

 Joas and Edith

Weslie with Joppi's and Janina's cute new dog, Ebba

Our godson Adam, 2,5 years old.

 Family photo

The youngest two girls in the family, Isabelle and Edith, with their favorite cousin Hannah.

Sofie got a taste for grilled marshmallows when she visited us in Ft Wayne in 2009, and now she makes them at home too. There is an "American shelf (not enough to call it an aisle) at the grocery store where you can find American delicacies such as marshmallows, chocolate sauce, BBQ sauce, Orrville Redenbacher's popcorn, jello...

Edith doesn't even want to taste one...

...but the other kids loved them.

The other American in the family did enjoy his, despite the serious look.

Joas, Sofie, Ivar and Aron focused on all the delicious food (var tvungen att lägga upp den här fina bilden av dig Sofie... :-)

Our daughter, the vampire...

I couldn't resist putting this Dracula cowl on Edith. She can "wear" anything:

How are you doing?

Maybe this is what you are thinking and how you are feeling, dear family and friends, when you see our grief?

Kanske är det så här ni känner, kära släkt och vänner, när ni ser vår sorg?

Sundström Ab

Checking out the heavy equipment at Moffa's road construction business.

Moffa's excavator is very big and a bit scary.

A future driver of a wheel loader?

We feel quite small next to that huge loader.

Lukas and Moffa in the excavator.

Martin, Adam and Esther.

Stormommo

Visiting with my dear grandmother, Gunn-Britt, and Edith's great-grandmother, "stormommo". Edith loved exploring her house and playing with her walker.

Wedding

The main reason we went to Finland was my youngest brother Paul's wedding. He was the last of my six siblings to get marries. It was a great day. The bride and groom were beautiful, the reception was wonderful, the food was great. We all had a good time, even though Edith was a bit sick. Weslie had been asked to say the closing prayer - and he did it in Swedish! He's gotten so good at it and I'm so proud of him.
