Beautiful Fall

It's been a few years since I've been able to experience the beautiful Finnish fall. Love the colors!

Aunts and Uncles

I had to make sure I got pictures of all my siblings with their spouses. Edith has a lot of aunts and uncles to keep track of...
Here they are in the right birth order (I'm the oldest). First my sisters Carina and Mikaela with their bearded husbands Martin and Patrik. Don't get any bright ideas, dear - if you want any smooches when I get back! Next my four brothers with their wife's: Daniel and Sofie, Patrik and Martina, Joel and Janina, and finally my baby brother Paul with Johanna, who are also her baptismal sponsors.

Family Picnic

We are trying to make the most out of our last days here in Finland. After church and lunch today, we went out on a picnic in the woods with my family. It is always so much fun spending time with them. We will miss them so much!

Moffa took the bike...

...while the rest of us walked.

Edith with her beloved Mommo and Moffa.

Edith stepped into the river and got water in the boot. Trying to dry off while grilling marshmallows.

Edith loves playing with Ellen.

Canoeing.

Edith was eager to join Moffa, but changed her mind very quickly: "I don't want to go on the ocean". I don't think Ease river has been called ocean before...

We have had a fun weekend. Yesterday we visited our dear friends Ann-Sofi and Botvid in Vasa and had a wonderful time. Thankful for great friends!

Horseback riding

Today we finally (we've been sick for a few days) got to ride on aunt Sofie's horse with cousin Isabelle. Edith was a bit scared at first, but eventually warmed up and had lots of fun riding.

Little princesses.

Moffa's Job

Yesterday we went to watch Moffa working with his enormous excavator. Esther and Adam were excited to go with him, Edith not so much. Too big and scary. Afterwards, everyone wanted to play with they toy excavators.
