No More Death

On this mountain the Lord of hosts will make for all peoples
    a feast of rich food, a feast of well-aged wine,
    of rich food full of marrow, of aged wine well refined.
7 And he will swallow up on this mountain
    the covering that is cast over all peoples,
    the veil that is spread over all nations.
8     He will swallow up death forever;
and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces,
    and the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth,
    for the Lord has spoken.
9 It will be said on that day,
    “Behold, this is our God; we have waited for him, that he might save us.
    This is the Lord; we have waited for him;
    let us be glad and rejoice in his salvation.” (Is 26:6-9)

Your dead shall live; their bodies shall rise.
    You who dwell in the dust, awake and sing for joy!
For your dew is a dew of light,
    and the earth will give birth to the dead. (Is 26:19)

Herrens festmåltid

  Herren Sebaot skall på detta berg göra en festmåltid för alla folk, en festmåltid med utsökta rätter och gamla viner, ja, med bästa vin, väl klarat.  
Han skall på detta berg
göra om intet den slöja som beslöjar alla folk, det täckelse
som täcker alla folkslag. 
Han skall för alltid
göra döden om intet. Herren Herren skall torka bort tårarna från alla ansikten, sitt folks vanära skall han ta bort från hela jorden. Ty Herren har talat. 

På den dagen skall man säga: Se, här är vår Gud! Honom väntade vi på, han skall frälsa oss. Ja, här är Herren 
som vi väntade på. Låt oss vara glada och fröjdas
över hans frälsning. (Jes 25:6-9)

Dina döda skall bli levande, mina dödas kroppar skall uppstå. Vakna upp och jubla, ni som bor i stoftet, ty din dagg är ljusets dagg, och jorden skall ge igen
de avsomnade. (Jes 26:19)
