Edith's Baptism

Today Edith was washed with the waters of regeration and renewal. We're so thankful and happy. After the baptism, there was a great party with many friends and great food compliments of my parents. Here is part of the Old Testament reading for today from Isaiah 61:

jI will greatly rejoice in the Lord;

my soul shall exult in my God,

kfor he has clothed me with the garments of salvation;

he has covered me with the robe of righteousness,

as a bridegroom decks himself llike a priest with a beautiful headdress,

mand as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

For as the earth brings forth its sprouts,

and as a garden causes what is sown in it to sprout up,

so the Lord God will cause nrighteousness and praise

to sprout up before all the nations.
