Today Matilda would be six months. It has been six incredibly long and sad months without her. She left us way too soon. Mamas shouldn't have to say goodbye to their babies. Sisters should have time for sleepovers, and sharing clothes and secrets. Daddies should get to walk their daughters down the isle. (If I may borrow the words of this mama). Instead we are left with empty, aching hearts and arms. We miss you so much, our sweet Matilda.

Finland, here we come
Edith and I are leaving for Finland in a few hours. A bit nerve wrecking to travel alone with a toddler, I have to admit. We will miss Weslie (waiting for him to get there in two weeks), but we are excited to see family and friends soon.

God morgon
Klockan är 6.45 och Edith är ute - i sin pyjamas - och leker i sandlådan och njuter av den svala, sköna sommarmorgonen. Solen är ännu bakom molnen och det är bara 19 grader. Happy, cool 4th of July!
